Together, we turn hydrogen into clean energy

Do you want to set up a hydrogen system?

Neogy® engineers support you in the development of a fuel cell management system, from the dimensioning of the hydrogen system, to the hydridation of a fuel cell with a lithium battery, via all energy management.

What is a fuel cell?

A fuel cell is an electrochemical converter that produces electricity from hydrogen and oxygen, usually taken from ambient air. This reaction is accompanied by the release of heat and the production of water.

It produces neither CO2, particles, nor any other pollutant, which makes it a completely clean means of electricity production.

Hydrogen can be stored in gaseous, liquid or solid form bound to other molecules.

There are fuel cells of different powers, from a few microwatts to several MWatts.

In a hydrogen system, the fuel cell is generally coupled to a battery whose function is to respond to the power transients requested by the application. This architecture makes it possible to reduce the size of fuel cell and to optimize the systems.

Neogy® offers hybridization solutions integrating power electronics and buffer batteries adapted to the energy needs of your applications.

The Pragma Industries hydrogen bike

Pragma Industries, a company based in Biarritz (33), offers the first electrically assisted bicycle (VAE) powered by a fuel cell.

It is the first company in the world to offer a commercial offer around this technology.

Neogy® participated in the development of this innovative system.

Design of the electronic fuel cell management card and its auxiliaries
Design of the lithium buffer battery integrated in the VAE
Design of the hybridization electronics Fuel cell and Lithium Battery

Neogy® also manufactures electronic cards and batteries. Over 300 systems have been produced to date.

We are proud to participate in this innovative project!
